What do you suppose I heard when I woke up this morning? Rain, and lots of it. It was coming a toad-washer outside. Cool rain, too, and it was only 70 degrees. A welcome break when I'm used to sitting around with my tongue hanging out from the summer heat. Spent the day helping in the kitchen. Notice how shiny the floor is? Cap, Glynn and I did clean-up duty.
We noticed that Glynn kept shaking her head, and you know what that means. A trip in the pupmobile to the vet's office. Seems she had a truckload of dirt in one ear (she blames me for flinging it around when I'm doing my landscaping). Then the vet noticed something unusual.
The vet found a small tumor growing in one of Glynn's ears. It's just a tiny thing now, so there's no immediate concern, but the next time we're in for our dentals we can have it taken care of. And that good ear-washing she got did the trick. No more shaking her head, and she's got that happy smile back on her face. It doesn't take much to keep little sis happy.
Tell So glad you got some welief fwom the Heat and that little Glynn is smiling again. You bof look gweat in those photos. I've had tons of wain, but it stays wawm even while it's pouwing smoochie kisses ASTA
It was great to see your happy selves in these pictures. And we're glad to hear that, despite the rain, the temperatures may start dropping as we head home in a few days.
If you have any influence in the weather department ... you might put a request in for a hold on the downpours while we're driving. It will make potty stops hard, otherwise!
We're glad Glynn's ear is going to be okay! We finally got some rain, here, too! Of course, that makes it feel like a steam bath every time we go outside! We hope your's doesn't feel like that!
Well we understand about rain that is ALL we have had this summer and barely any heat.We are glad that Glyn's ear feels better and we love to see you smiling...Love and kisses A+A
Yep.....rain....rain....'n more rain.....that's all we get here this summer....we sure don't miss the heat but a little sun now and again would be most welcome....
Glad ta hear Glynn's tumor isn't a concern....healin' thoughts are comin' her way....
Rain rain, I know that sound too well...now 70 here at the moment would be HOT! Poor Glynn having to go the vets. I'm wagging she's happy and dirt free again now. What handsome square sibby's you two are!
I'm a wire fox terrier, and I live on a farm in the country with my two best friends, Cap and Glynn. Cap is the old grumpy dog. Glynn is the shy girl. I'm the good lookin' one. It's a busy life, living on a farm like this. We have to keep the chickens safe from the fox, the raccoons out of the barn, and the squirrels up their tree. It's a full time job, even with three of us patrolling the grounds. When I get time (and Mom's not looking), I get on the computer and write to my friends. I have doggy friends from Canada to Australia and everywhere in between. Even one in Ireland and a couple in the UK. So join the fun, read my blog and sign the guest book. The more the merrier, especially with terriers (hey, I'm a poet and didn't know it)!

We are glad you got some relief from the heat, and that Gwen left the dirt at the Vet's office. Hope you keep smiling for the rest of the summer.
