Cap's Special Day

With three terriers in the house, it's easy to get lost in the shuffle, or scuffle as we sometimes call it. Our solution is to have a special day all to ourselves with Mom. Most of the time we go to work with her, hang around the office, maybe ride in the truck to the feed store or someplace else. It's nice to have some one-on-one time without all the competition. Of course, the two left at home whine a little but it all sorts out in the end. As you can see, having all of us in the truck at the same time is a little crowded. Hey, scoot over, I'm riding shotgun!

To keep it all in order, we go by alphabet so we can keep it straight. This week was Cap's turn for a special day. His favorite part about going to the office is raiding the toy box Mom keeps for him in the back. The squeakies are his favorite. He likes to pretend he's a lean, mean, squeakie-killin' machine. Grrr!

The old boy can still romp despite the arthritis. Nothing slows him down when he gets a squeakie toy in his mouth.

Nothing, that is, except to stop for a good rumpus scritching. Ahhh! Then he's off again!

When it was time to leave, he really wanted to take the toy raccoon with him. So Mom gave in and let him bring it home. She always gives in to Cap. I secretly believe Mom loves him best (so I sound like a Smothers Brother, or what?).

Next week is Glynn's turn, then ME! I can hardly wait!

That's really cool that you each get a special day with your mom! We think our Mom should let us go to work with her...since she is in an office all by herself. We could keep her company!
Happy Easter to all of you!

Looks like Cap enjoyed his day out with your mum. My pinky likes the idea of one on one but we'd all have a fit if that happened here lol.
Hope your enjoying the Easter weekend.

Wow...we wanna go to work with Mumsie...we could be therapy dogs in the recovery room in the hospital...the patients would think they were still asleep when they saw us three!!!

That Cap is a handsome boy, Tell! And he has the Power of Persuasion...Babystan has that too...what he wants, he gets. It's so unfair.

Happy Easter, Tell!!!!!

Love, Lacie

Does Cap date?

Special days are good. My Human doesn't ever take me to work with her, however. I think she needs to get a new job. One where she can take me!

I love the idea of special alone time with each pup! I wish I could take Xsara to work, too ... but my boss wouldn't allow it :( I think I should get a now job!

And I don't believe your Mom loves anyone of you more than the others. Seems to me like she loves all of you a whole lot!

Hi Wm. Tell,
Nice to meet you and it's great to know about all the other wire fox terriers out there. My Mom was born on a dairy farm and we get to visit our Gram Judy pretty often...we check out the cows and the little calf huts and the milking room....what kind of farm do you live on? Just wondering......I'm nosey, I really am...

Hi Tell,

Going to work looks like a lot of fun. I don't know why people complain about it. Hehe.

Sorry that it has been so long since I stopped by for a visit. I will try to do a better job of keeping up with you.

Love and Koobuss Kisses,
